Juuva

As a cancer survivor I get asked how I'm doing all the time. It doesn't bother me. I love telling people that I'm great and that I beat cancer. It gives hope to everyone. Cancer is scary and it can kill, but it doesn't always win. I get asked how I'm feeling. Well now I feel great, but it took a long time to feel this way. After chemo and radiation, my body was dead. I was always tired. It didn't take much to knock me out. I couldn't keep up with anything. The house was a mess and to clean one room would make me feel like I ran a marathon. I just patiently waited till my body got back to normal. Almost a year after chemo I was still tired and Clint found something he wanted me to try. The pessimist that I am thought he was crazy. What he found was a drink called Galaxy. Galaxy is a high impact blend of super fruits and foods. It's full of nutrient-rich antioxidants. This stuff is amazing. My husband and in-laws drink it as well. I believe in this product so much that we decided to sell it. I want everyone I know to know about this product. It has changed my life. Please check out our website and see what other products we have. Feel free to ask any questions. Our website is www.juuva.biz/newlifevision There is currently a doctor at BYU running test on Galaxy. You can read on report by googling Dr. Booth, Galaxy, and Intech. The results are amazing. Thanks for reading my blog I hope you decide to follow me and Transform Your Life

Holy Cow It's Been Almost a Year!

I didn't realize how long it has been since I last wrote. Life is great and crazy as usual. I had my last scan in June and the cancer is still gone. =) Yay! I now only have to have appointments every 6 months and no more scans!!!! I am a Survivor!!!! Clint is still in school. He has a love hate relationship with school. This semester he is taking Criminal Justice, Calculus, and Chemistry. All subjects he loves. Calculus is way over my head and he tries to talk to me about it. Sorry babe, I don't get it. He has decided that he wants to be a surgeon. I know he can do it, but it's a lot of work. Nolan started sixth grade. I can't believe it. He has two teachers. He loves both of them. His favorite subjects are Math and Science. He's pretty good at both too. He wants to be an engineer when he grows up. We had a new family move in across the street and he has made a new friend. They are in the same class. He has so far done pretty good. I'm so happy about that. Zachary started the fourth grade and he got the teacher that he wanted. I'm happy because we got a teacher that Nolan had in the past. We know what is expected of him. Zachary has kind of just slid by while we get Nolan on track. That won't be happening this year. Zac is bummed because his best friend is in the other class. This is our fourth year here so he does have a lot of friends in his class. Jaelene has started first grade and as always she loves it. She gets all her homework done and I love it. It's awesome to have one child I don't have to constantly fight with. She has a lot of friends and loves her teacher. She still likes to hug her parents and that is nice. I dread the day she stops wanting that. Madalie, our baby started Pre-School. I cried, she didn't. She loves going as long as she isn't going to miss something at home. She likes having friends to play with. I love to hear how her day was. She is always so excited about everything. Last year she started to do this thing where after I put her in the car and go to get in the driver seat she yells surprise! It's funny She stopped doing it for awhile and has started doing it again. I love my kids they are the sunshine and craziness in my life.

November 2012

Tomorrow I have a CT with oral contrast. Not fun at all. The drink is nasty and it gives you gas. I pay Clint back for 12 years of marriage in one night. =) I always get anxiety around my appointments because they really can go either way. I've been blessed that they have been good this past year, but I never would have imagined to have bad results in the beginning. I can't explain the feelings I have at these appointments. I know I'm suppose to be positive, but it just isn't that easy. I don't think it will ever get easy. I just keep praying that I will be here for along time. I'm not done yet. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. Love, Sumer

Back To School...

It's August already. The boys start school on Wednesday. Nolan will be in 5th and Zachary in 3rd. They both got the teachers they wanted so they are pretty excited. Jaelene starts school the following Monday. Kindergarten has testing the first 3 days and then they start the normal stuff later. Jaelene signed up for full day Kindergarten. She is so excited. She's been driving me nuts with a count down all Summer. Madalie is driving me crazy as well. She keeps talking about when she is going to school. She doesn't quite get that she has to wait another year. I've decided that I'll just teach her from home to make her happy. She's going to drive me nuts while the rest of the kids are at school all day. Oh well she's the last one so I'm going to enjoy my time with her. Clint starts school in the next few weeks. This time he is taking Psychology, Chemistry, and something else. I can't remember. He's not exactly looking forward to it. He took the Summer off, so the break was nice for all of us. I have a check up on the 28th and as always they make me nervous. I'm sure everything will be fine, but I still get anxious. This Summer we went to California for a week and visited some family. Zachary turned 8 in July and we participated in our first Relay for Life in August. Our team collected $2,328.70. We are definitely going to try and beat that next year. I stared a few months later and for it being our first time we did pretty good. Zachary is going to be Baptized on the 1st of September. We are pretty excited about that. Maybe I'll share an update before the new year. =) Thanks for following!

A New Year!

Since I last wrote we have had a lot going on. I had a PET Scan and the results were negative. =) Yay!!! We celebrated Thanksgiving at Clint's parents house. We had a lot to be Thankful for. It was awesome knowing that I didn't have any cancer in my body. I did my crazy black friday shopping. I got some pretty good deals too.

Clint celebrated his 32 birthday. We had Christmas at home with the kids and then went to both Clint and my parents house. I got some really cute shoes and rolled my ankle wearing them. It still hurts and I can't wear heels. I guess it's a good thing that it has started to snow now. Nolan celebrated his 10th birthday. I can't believe I've been a mom for 10 years. We had a nice family party on New Years Eve. Nolan is growing up and wanted clothes, money, and iTune cards. Boring presents from here on out I guess.

January rolled in and we celebrated Madalie's 3rd birthday. That was exciting because it is the first one that she really understands. She was adorable opening her presents and she had a Minnie Mouse themed party. She was so excited.

Clint started school again with a fully load. He is taking two Political Science classes, a P.E. class, Humanities and Anatomy. He is enjoying anatomy. He gets to see cadavers. I guess it's a good thing he is excited about that since he wants to be a Doctor. He is hating his humanities class. That class is going to be the death of one of us. ;)

I'm doing my usual fun stuff. You know like laundry, dishes, and cleaning up the rest of the house. I came to the realization the other day that as soon as my kids move out and I can keep my house clean they will bring the grandkids over. But hey there will at least be a few days where the house is clean. It has started snowing and this time it is sticking to the ground. Last year the day we had our last big storm of the year I was driving down our street which is on a big hill and I spun out. I was already freaking out about hearing the word cancer from my biopsy report earlier that day. The accident didn't do much for my mental state. Luckily the kids and I were fine and there wasn't any major damage to the car. Now I'm terrified of driving in the snow. I'm sure in time I will get over it or move to Arizona. We'll see. I let you know if I will be having a forwarding address.

September Has Passed, where did it go?

I have decided to keep this blog going even though I'm done being treated for Cancer. I am now in remission!!! 4 months now. I can't believe how time flies when you're going to live. ;)Ok, so time is probably flying because I'm a busy mother of 4 and can't keep up with anything. This week we have SEP conferences a.k.a. Parent teacher Conference. I can't believe that the middle of first term is already here. It's crazy. I haven't even got in the groove of things yet. It feels like school just started. It actually feels like school just ended. Where did the Summer go? We've already had snow. Thank goodness it didn't stick.

So far this year Nolan has made big improvement in the 4th grade. He is staying more organized and actually turning his homework in. He loves his teacher Mr. Johnson. He's his first male teacher and loves math and science like Nolan does. Mr. Johnson is great at keeping in touch with me and letting me know how things are at school. I really like that.

Zac is in the 2nd grade and has Miss Sue for his teacher. Her last name is Walker, but she has everyone call her Sue. It's different and my thinks it's disrespectful. Maybe it is, but what are you gonna do? She is a teacher that loves art. She was even an art teacher at one time. Zac loves art as well and is loving second grade.

Jaelene is loving pre-school. Last year she was the one girl out of a class of ten. This year there is a total of four girls and she is loving it. She can't wait to go to school with her brothers.

Madalie is potty trained!!! Yes!!!! I am done with diapers!!! I mean she is done with diapers. =) She is learning her colors and shapes. I thought I better teach her since she thinks everything is pink and purple. Her favorite color is purple.

Clint is currently taking Math, Biology, English, and Music Appreciation. It is a full load. He doesn't have much free time, but he is getting all A's. We are so proud of him.

As for me, I'm trying to recover from Chemo Brain and to get some energy back. No matter what I do I feel like I've been kicked in the butt! Cleaning the house, shopping, and field trips knock me off my feet. I'm told that in time it will get better. I hope so. I have my next PET Scan in Nov. and with hope and faith the results will be good.

Till Next time,

Love Ya!
